As you all hopefully know, the Roman Empire was at its height many millennia ago. The Romans were significantly ahead of their time in many aspects, especially in their architecture. To this day, Ancient Roman architecture is still some of the most beautiful and intricate in the world. Although the Romans did not have access to modern-day technology, they were still able to build structures that people continue to marvel at today. One brilliant example of Roman architecture and ancient engineering is the Roman aqueducts, which provided water to Ancient Rome and are still used in the present day. Other examples include the Colosseum and Pantheon: sites that millions of people visit every day to learn more about the history and architecture of Ancient Rome. While all of these structures were built over 2000 years ago, many of them are still well preserved.
